Attended Events and Art Exhibits

Dominika was born in Poland, where she lived briefly until her parents immigrated to Canada in 1990. Much to her delight, they took Dominika and her younger sister with them.
From a very young age Dominika showed her appreciation for art. At age five, her masterpiece “phelka” pioneered her future ground-breaking work on depictions of fleas. After this critically acclaimed series she further improved her art by learning to colour inside the lines, not paint on walls and add ears and necks to her figure drawings.
Presently, she enjoys dabbling in watercolors, pencil crayons, oil pastels, markers (Copics), acrylics, pottery, inks, charcoal, and digital media (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Open Canvas, and Corel Paint). She avoids oil paints as she is concerned that she may accidentally drink the dissolving agent (she has already drunk at least one litre of watercolour water by accident).
Art is a much beloved hobby for Dominika. Her "real" job (as her parents like to call it) is in the field of health care consulting, which she is completely enamoured with and intends to spend her life working in.
